IGI begins training in Botswana

IGI announced it had launched a polished diamond grading program in Botswana, aimed at helping Botswana broaden its economy. The 10-day program took place in January at Pluczenik Diamonds Botswana (PTY) Ltd. in Gaborone. “IGI executives are strong believers of supplier countries being able to develop their own manufacturing factories,” IGI said in a statement. “We look forward to continued course offerings in Botswana as well as worldwide.” IGI offers grading and sales courses in Belgium, India, Italy, Dubai, US, Canada, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Egypt, Kuwait and China.
